LED Display Built to Replace LCD
We make the LED panels, the cabinets and the control systems in our own factory in Shenzhen. This D6 LED screen is designed as a straight drop-in upgrade for existing 6-sheet LCD advertising screens — brighter in daylight, no black bezel, and built to sell airtime.
Why D6 LCD screens lose to daylight
Most D6 advertising screens on UK streets today are LCD. In direct sunlight they wash out, and the black frame shrinks the visible picture. That is the problem this LED screen solves.
Brighter in sunlight
A typical D6 LCD panel peaks around 2,500 nits. Our LED panels run at 5,000–6,000 nits, so the picture stays visible and punchy even in full sun — no glare complaints from advertisers.
No black borders
LCD cabinets waste up to 30% of the opening on bezels. Our 304.8 × 609.6 mm LED modules tile edge-to-edge, giving a seamless 1219 × 1829 mm picture in the same opening.
Modular maintenance
Each module is front-serviceable — a technician swaps one panel in minutes without opening the cabinet or taking the screen down. Less downtime, lower running cost.

Both versions use the same 304.8 × 609.6 mm LED modules, arranged 2-wide by 6-high — 12 modules, 2.23 m², matching the standard roadside D6 opening (4 × 6 ft) with no black bezel. We can also build other D6 cabinet sizes to your site drawing.

Built to your opening: this D6 LED line is made to order in our Shenzhen factory. Before quoting, we confirm the site opening size against your existing D6 LCD structure — the 4 × 6 ft format fits the standard, but cabinet details vary by operator and location. Send us your drawing and we will engineer the drop-in cabinet.

One cabinet platform covers indoor and outdoor use. The differences are the IP rating, brightness and light sensor — the core components stay the same, so spares and service are simple.

D6 LED display FAQ
What is a roadside digital 6-sheet (D6) display?
D6 is the standard vertical DOOH format, roughly 1.2 m wide by 1.8 m high (4 × 6 ft), mounted at eye level in bus shelters, on totems and in transport hubs. Historically these used LCD panels; this page is about replacing them with LED.
Will your LED screen fit my existing D6 structure?
The standard build is 1219.2 × 1828.8 mm — the 4 × 6 ft D6 opening. Because cabinet details vary by operator and site, we confirm your actual opening size and drawing before quoting, and engineer a drop-in cabinet around your existing frame.
Which pixel pitch should I choose, P1.9 or P2.3?
Choose P1.9 (640 × 960) for indoor concourses or close viewing distances where fine text matters. Choose P2.3 (512 × 768) for standard street D6 viewing distances at a more economical price. Both use the same cabinet and modules.
How bright does an outdoor D6 LED screen need to be?
For direct sunlight you want 5,000 nits or more. Our outdoor build runs at 5,000 nits (P1.9) and 6,000 nits (P2.3), with an ambient light sensor for automatic dimming at night. Indoor builds run at 1,000–2,000 nits.
Can you build the screen under our brand (OEM / ODM / private label)?
Yes. We are the manufacturer — Shenzhen Only Optoelectronic, factory since 2006. We can put your logo on the cabinet, integrate your CMS and player software, and package under your brand. Sample units are produced before mass production.
What is the warranty and support?
A 5-year warranty, with spare modules, firmware and technical support supplied directly from our Shenzhen factory. UKCA, CE, FCC and RoHS certification are included.
